Creating the Brand for a New Company - Intersil

Harris Corporation spun off their semiconductor business into a new entity named "Intersil".  Intersil required a complete brand image: positioning, logo, graphics, tagline, literature and ad formats.  Click here and follow the launch.


Intersil Idea Campaign

Intersil's tagline - "ideas in silicon" - was developed to position them as a major supplier of innovation semiconductor products.  And the accepted icon of innovation in the technical world is the napkin.  Stories abound of ideas which became products based upon a sketch or equations on a napkin.

Thus, the Intersil launch campaign focused on the "idea " theme and the napkin icon.  For examples of each of the integrated communications vehicles, click here.

SeaAway Meeting Invitation

Communicating the importance of protecting our ports and gaining the attention of our target audience, people who understand the threats, was critical to new business development for SeaAway, a seaport protection company.

To put the issues directly in front of the port authority personnel and lawmakers we were inviting to attend a luncheon concerning SeaAway's port protection capability, we created a 3-dimensional direct mail piece seen at the left.

Seaport Canaveral Introduction Brochure

New to Port Canaveral on Central Florida's East Coast, Seaport Canaveral was just clearing land to build a large fuel tank farm.  To communicate the benefits of their presence and to address concerns about the storage facility, we created an introductory brochure for them, completely explaining the project and directly addressing specific issues; job creation, increased fuel availability in critical times, safety in design and operation, etc.  Click here to see pdf of the full brochure.

Florida EcoSafaris Brand Campaign

For many years, Florida EcoSafaris at Forever Florida has been running eco-safaris through 4700 acres of pristine Central Florida land on motor coaches and horseback.  Everything changed in Q4 of 2008 when they installed Florida's only zipline and the safaris became the adventure of a lifetime.
